Automotive Collision Estimator

Job overview

The Automotive Collision Estimator role is onsite in Danvers, MA. Compensation is $34–$48 per hour. The position supports Group 1 Collision Center of IRA Toyota Danvers, part of Group 1 Automotive’s automotive retail business. The estimator assesses vehicle damage, prepares repair and replacement cost estimates, and explains options to customers. The role also coordinates with insurance companies and completes claim documentation to support accurate repair decisions and customer service.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and communicate by phone
• schedule appointments and collect vehicle information
• build relationships with customers, insurers, and coworkers
• document customer requests on work orders
• inspect vehicles for structural, exterior, interior, body, and mechanical damage
• estimate labor, parts, salvage, and repainting costs
• discuss repair-versus-replacement options
• complete insurance claim forms and recommendations.
