CNC Programmer

The position supports Fisher Barton’s TST division, translating engineering blueprints into high-precision components for demanding environments. The programmer develops, tests, and optimizes lathe programs and works with machinists and set-up operators to prove out programs and resolve issues. The role contributes to efficient machining and part quality through tooling and process choices, blueprint interpretation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Create, test, and optimize lathe CNC programs using Mastercam and SolidWorks
• select tooling, speeds, feeds, and work-holding fixtures
• interpret technical drawings and 3D models using GD&T
• collaborate with machinists and set-up operators to prove out programs and troubleshoot
• identify ways to reduce cycle times and improve part quality.

Why this role

Advanced CAD/CAM knowledge, including Mastercam and SolidWorks, and experience in a high-precision ISO 9001 manufacturing environment are required. Schedule is 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday–Friday; high school diploma is preferred.
