The Registered Nurse (RN), Diagnostic Radiology role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with a day schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and compensation of $53.63–$85.58 per hour. Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center serves the Hollywood community and surrounding areas with medical and nursing care. The RN supports physicians during diagnostic imaging examinations and minimally invasive procedures by assessing and monitoring patients, administering prescribed medications and moderate sedation, documenting care, and preparing patients and families for discharge. The role contributes to safe, coordinated radiology care through patient advocacy and collaboration with physicians and department staff.

What you'll do

• Monitor, collect, and process physiologic data during radiological procedures
• assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• administer prescribed medications and moderate sedation and monitor for adverse reactions
• connect patient monitoring equipment
• prepare procedure sites and trays
• assist with transport
• educate patients and families
• document in RIS and EHR
• perform emergency duties including CPR.

Why this role

Requires an accredited nursing program graduate, current California RN license, BLS and ACLS certificates from the American Heart Association, and at least two years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience. Los Angeles County Fire and Safety Card and Assault Response Competency are required within 30 days of hire.
