Substance Abuse Counselor — Hidden Garden

The Substance Abuse Counselor — Hidden Garden role is onsite in Baltimore, MD. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 per year. The role provides individual and group treatment while overseeing day-to-day unit operations and maintaining continuity of services. It also supports program quality through outcome tracking, compliance, outreach, and coordination with clinical and substance-use staff.

What you'll do

• Provide substance use treatment and counseling
• conduct screening, assessment, intake, treatment planning, continuity-of-care, and discharge planning
• oversee day-to-day unit operations
• track monthly performance measures and annual goals
• report unit outcomes and barriers
• provide crisis interventions, including home visits
• support compliance with service definitions and best practices
• participate in quality reviews, outreach, provider meetings, staff meetings, and required training.
