Spirometry Technician

The Spirometry Technician role is based onsite in Suffern, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role collaborates with medical, nursing, respiratory therapy, and physician staff to support accurate and timely respiratory care.

What you'll do

• Perform spirometry tests following ATS/ERS standards
• calibrate and maintain testing equipment
• provide testing to geriatric patients
• interpret FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, FEF, and PEF results
• guide patients through testing
• document results in electronic medical records
• communicate findings to respiratory therapists or physicians
• follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
