Laboratory Technician — Clinical Research

Job overview

The Laboratory Technician role is onsite in Orlando, FL, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour. The technician supports Flourish Research's clinical trial site and research team. The role collects and processes specimens, performs point-of-care testing, and maintains sample records and supplies. These activities support clinical trial protocols and accurate handling and shipment of research specimens.

What you'll do

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture as needed
• process specimens
• prepare lab kits and supplies
• track results and sample inventories
• perform point-of-care tests
• maintain supply inventory
• participate in research meetings and training
• maintain IATA certification for specimen shipping
• respond to laboratory queries.

Why this role

Requires an active phlebotomist certification and phlebotomy experience in a clinic or hospital. IATA certification and clinical research experience are preferred but not required.
