Material Handler

The Material Handler works onsite in Lansing, MI; compensation is not specified. The role supports material flow and organization in a manufacturing plant. By stocking supplies, delivering materials to production lines, maintaining inventory rotation, and supporting safe, orderly storage areas, the handler helps meet production requirements and maintain product and process quality.

What you'll do

• Operate a forklift, tugger, and/or cherry picker
• organize and stock supplies
• pick and store materials in sequence
• deliver materials to production lines
• maintain storage areas and clear access routes
• follow safety rules and wear required PPE
• report powered industrial truck maintenance issues and complete daily assessments
• rotate materials using FIFO
• participate in inventories and reorganization
• handle cardboard and recycling
• document activities and report product, process, or system problems.

Why this role
