Clinical Assistant — Behavioral Health and TMS

The Clinical Assistant is an onsite, full-time position in Rockford, IL, paying $20–$22 per hour. Relief Mental Health provides a continuum of mental health care, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato treatment services. The assistant supports patient care and clinic operations by helping providers, administering and monitoring TMS treatments, supporting Spravato services, maintaining patient records, and coordinating front-desk and administrative workflows. Accurate documentation and adherence to treatment protocols help the clinic deliver consistent, safe care.

What you'll do

• Greet patients and visitors
• respond to inquiries and schedule appointments
• obtain and document histories and vital signs
• assist with point-of-care tests and assessments
• support Spravato services
• set up, administer, and monitor TMS according to provider protocols
• document sessions in the EHR
• maintain records and support billing and administrative tasks
• follow HIPAA and clinic protocols.

Why this role

Requires healthcare experience; behavioral health experience is strongly preferred. CPR/AED certification is required or must be obtained during training, and TMS administration certification must be obtained within one month of employment.
