Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN) in Fort Worth, TX. This is an onsite position. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to provide safe and effective nursing care to patients postoperatively until they are dismissed from the facility, ensuring a positive patient experience.

What you'll do

  • Prepare patient care area
  • Demonstrate proper airway management
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.)
  • Exhibit proper technique for IV catheter insertion, maintenance, and removal
  • Perform and document head-to-toe evaluation using an approved scoring system
  • Check dressings and/or operative site and report abnormalities
  • Provide a safe and comforting environment
  • Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.

What we're looking for

Education
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
Experience
1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
