What you'll do

• Identify and assess technical accounting issues in complex transactions and prepare technical memorandums
• advise business leaders on accounting transactions
• review written accounting policies and guide their application
• monitor changes to accounting standards, SEC guidance, and PCAOB regulations
• analyze new accounting pronouncements and lead implementation
• resolve technical accounting issues with external auditors
• support external reporting and audits
• assist deal teams with acquisition and disposition accounting and purchase price accounting
• lead annual impairment analysis
• organize quarterly enterprise-wide training on US GAAP, internal controls, and SEC matters.
