Communications Officer – NDPD

The Communications Officer – NDPD role is onsite at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN. Starting pay is at least $22 per hour. What you'll do

• Triage 9-1-1 and administrative calls
• use radio communications to dispatch police, fire, and EMS
• track field units
• query local and national databases
• maintain data integrity in the CAD system
• monitor campus alarms and CCTV
• provide customer service at the service window
• assist visitors and coordinate with University departments.

Why this role

Preferred experience in emergency dispatch or high-volume customer service is not required. High school diploma or GED required; IDACS and EMD certifications can be obtained through provided training. Schedule uses 10-hour shifts on a 4/3 pattern with rotating weekends off.
