Referral Screening Specialist, Organ Donation

What you'll do

• Coordinate referral information and logistics and route donor referrals
• document medical screening and follow intake procedures
• evaluate potential organ and tissue donor suitability using medical records, histories, examinations, and current health status
• transcribe health information into electronic medical records
• request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• collaborate with hospital personnel and clinical teams on action plans
• participate in training, process improvement, quality activities, and assigned projects.

Why this role

The role is not fully remote and requires training during day shift, followed by rotating 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM–6:00 AM CST on a two-week schedule that includes weekends.
