Swim Coach — Age Group (Ages 9–12) is an onsite, part-time role in Boca Raton, FL, with practices Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and some Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Compensation is not specified. The coach supports Boca Raton Swim Team’s year-round program for young athletes. The coach teaches competitive stroke fundamentals in a safe, supportive learning environment and helps athletes develop correct mechanics across the four competitive strokes. The role also supports the head coach and team, follows pool safety rules, and attends swim meets as needed.

What you'll do

• Support the head coach and team with swimmers ages 9–12
• teach stroke fundamentals and mechanics for the four competitive strokes
• apply pool and aquatic-area safety rules
• check for pool hazards and clean the area after practices
• maintain positive relationships with members, participants, and staff
• attend relevant swim meets as needed.

Why this role

Must live within commuting distance of Boca Raton and be authorized to work in the USA. Prior swim instruction experience and strong knowledge of all four competitive strokes are required; USA Swimming coach certification must be obtained and maintained, with compensation offered for certification credentials.
