What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, patient rooms, restrooms, nursing areas, laundry areas, and floors
• handle linens and restock supplies
• follow safety and infection-control procedures
• inspect and use housekeeping equipment safely
• report maintenance issues
• create housekeeping staff schedules as assigned
• train housekeepers and/or patients on cleaning and infection control
• prepare supply orders and identify cost-saving opportunities
• participate in inspections and address deficiencies
• communicate with management about cleanliness and infection-control standards
• provide input for personnel reviews as assigned.
