The Tractor Trailer Driver is an onsite position based in Portland, OR, with a starting pay of $29.00/hr. This role supports the waste transport operations at Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, ensuring efficient service for our customers. The primary purpose of this role is to operate tractor-trailers to haul garbage and other live loads between transfer stations and disposal sites. The driver works independently to complete assigned routes while maintaining high standards of safety and vehicle maintenance.

What you'll do

• Operate tractor-trailers with 53-foot trailers
• haul garbage and live loads
• perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
• read route sheets or tablets
• interact courteously with customers
• follow all safety policies.
