What you'll do

• Assist customers at the meat counter and with smoked products
• receive, cut, prepare, smoke, serve, package, stock, and display meat products
• monitor expiration dates and rotate products
• remove damaged or unsaleable items and follow damage-claim procedures
• count and record inventory
• update shelf tags and price markers
• unload and sort shipments
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures
• operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely. A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
