The Caregiver, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Peoria, IL, with a schedule of 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, including every other weekend. Pay is $16.69–$17.69 per hour. The role supports residents at Heartis Village Senior Living. The caregiver provides hands-on personal and emotional support while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, home-like environment. By assisting with daily care, responding to resident needs, and encouraging independence and engagement, the role contributes to residents’ well-being and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Support a designated group of residents and conduct frequent checks
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, and eating
• respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells
• promote independence, dignity, safety, and well-being
• maintain clean and organized resident rooms and work areas
• provide companionship and emotional support
• engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities
• notify a supervisor or health care coordinator of increased care needs.

Why this role

CNA certification and prior experience with seniors are preferred; high school diploma or GED is required. The schedule includes every other weekend.
