What you'll do

• Participate in the on-call schedule, including ten 24-hour shifts per month or 30 shifts per 12-week period and 12 weekend shifts per 12-week period
• assist surgical teams in sterile organ recovery and packaging
• handle instruments and supplies
• facilitate recovery of research organs and tissue grafts
• document in iTransplant and OPTN systems
• monitor kidneys on perfusion machines
• communicate with transplant surgeons
• coordinate research organ allocation
• assist transplant teams at donor hospitals with recovery coordination, transportation, packaging, and labeling.
