Field Service Technician – High-Purity Water Systems is an onsite, full-time day-shift role based in Windsor Mill, MD, serving a regional area that includes DC, Northern Virginia, and Central Pennsylvania. Pay is $25–$35 per hour, plus overtime. Neu-Ion supports high-purity water systems used in healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech, data center, and industrial settings. The technician maintains and troubleshoots water treatment systems, helping customers keep mission-critical equipment operating reliably. The work includes preventive maintenance, repairs, startups, water-quality testing, sanitization, documentation, and customer communication, with regional travel and an on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and startups on reverse osmosis, deionization, EDI, softener, pretreatment, storage, UV, filtration, and distribution systems
• conduct water-quality tests
• perform sanitizations, resin and membrane exchanges, and performance verifications
• respond to emergency service calls
• support commissioning and post-installation follow-up
• assist with troubleshooting pumps, motors, valves, filters, lamps, and instrumentation
• complete service reports
• follow procedures and safety requirements
• communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
