What you'll do

• Assess patient histories, complaints, vital signs, risk factors, and conditions
• provide care under established standards and laws
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• monitor and document patient responses
• educate patients and families
• schedule surgery and submit hospital boarding documents
• prepare patients preoperatively and provide postoperative follow-up, including wound checks and staple removal
• maintain records and confidentiality
• respond to treatment-related calls
• maintain continuing education, licensure, and BLS.
