Call Center Collections Agent

Job overview

What you'll do

• Make outbound calls about overdue accounts and offer repayment solutions
• use scripts and negotiation strategies to secure payment commitments
• listen to customer concerns and address objections professionally
• process phone payments, including credit cards, electronic funds transfers, and payment plans
• record interactions and account updates in the CRM
• follow the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other applicable requirements
• track collection performance and recovery rates
• resolve inquiries and escalate complex issues.
