Deposit Operations Manager

The manager supports Banterra’s Deposit Operations team and works under the direction of the Senior Operations Officer. The role leads daily deposit operations, maintains service levels and operational controls, and oversees accurate processing and Core system changes. By managing staff, resolving escalations, supporting compliance and audits, and improving workflows, the manager contributes to reliable deposit services and customer support.

What you'll do

• Direct deposit support, IRAs, HSAs, exception processing, overdraft operations, Branch Capture, and other assigned functions
• ensure daily processing, balancing, exception resolution, and Federal Reserve returns meet deadlines
• oversee deposit products and promotions
• resolve complex account and service issues
• monitor workflows and service levels
• oversee abandoned-property reporting and backup withholding
• lead and develop the team
• manage staffing, performance, hiring, training, and succession planning
• maintain controls and compliance
• coordinate fraud-alert research
• support audits and risk assessments
• oversee Core system specifications, testing, approvals, documentation, and implementation
• identify and implement workflow improvements
• lead or participate in cross-functional projects.
