It contributes through emergency testing and care, monitoring, triage, and coordination with the department team; the position includes a 13-week assignment, 7 PM–7 AM shifts, every other weekend, and availability for every other holiday if needed.

What you'll do

• Provide emergency department nursing care for adult patients
• perform or support IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilator management
• care for patients with stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI, dysrhythmias, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma
• use isolation precautions and triage
• float within skillset
• chart in EPIC. Requires an active New York single-state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• first-time travelers accepted, while RNs within 75 miles are not accepted.
