Rope Access Technician

Job overview

The Rope Access Technician works onsite in the Gonzales and Greater New Orleans, LA regions; compensation is not specified. Apave America provides industrial inspection, maintenance, and related services using rope access methods. Under the direct supervision of an authorized Level III rope access supervisor, the technician accesses difficult-to-reach work areas to perform assigned inspection, maintenance, and other industrial tasks. The role supports safe field operations through equipment checks, hazard awareness, training, and rescue readiness appropriate to certification level.

What you'll do

• Perform assigned rope access operations under supervisor direction
• use industrial rope access equipment to access work areas
• follow safety procedures and use required PPE
• inspect rope access systems before use
• identify and report hazards
• participate in training and certification sessions
• maintain rescue proficiency and assist with rescues as directed
• support other crafts when not assigned to projects.
