Plant Reliability Technician — Hydraulics, Pneumatics & VFDs

The Plant Reliability Technician works onsite in Piedmont, SC, on a second- or third-shift schedule. Pay is up to $32.38 per hour, DOE, plus a $2.00-per-hour off-shift differential. HTI is partnering with an automotive manufacturer for this role. The technician keeps production machinery, facility infrastructure, and utilities in working condition by diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, and supporting maintenance and improvement work. The role also helps restore production equipment, maintain 5S standards, and train teammates.

What you'll do

• Interpret prints to isolate faults
• repair and modify hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• troubleshoot pumps, motors, VFDs, and servo equipment
• service air compressors, chillers, evaporators, and coolant systems
• weld and fabricate repairs
• use PLC ladder logic to identify faults
• maintain CNC turning centers and grinders
• analyze equipment after rebuilds
• order parts, manage schedules, apply 5S, and train teammates.
