The attorney combines employer counseling with employment litigation, advising on workplace matters and managing cases from inception through resolution. The role also conducts legal research, develops litigation strategy, drafts motions and agreements, and advises clients and managers on employment practices and compliance.

What you'll do

• Counsel employers on wage and hour compliance, terminations, reductions in force, leaves, investigations, and worker classification
• draft and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, handbooks, compensation plans, separation agreements, and policies
• represent employers in employment litigation
• manage litigation matters
• conduct research and develop strategy
• draft motions and briefs
• train managers and advise clients on compliance.
