Logging Heavy Equipment Operator

Job overview

The Logging Heavy Equipment Operator is based in Flagstaff, AZ, with projects throughout Arizona and surrounding states; the role requires 50–75% travel and may require up to 100% depending on assignment. What you'll do

• Operate heavy forestry equipment
• perform chainsaw felling, limbing, and bucking
• manage slash work including chipping and hauling
• perform road work, excavation, lifting, and site cleanup
• control erosion through contour felling and LEB installation
• inspect and maintain assigned machines
• request repairs
• follow safety standards
• attend weekly site maintenance training
• and perform general forestry labor as needed.
