Furniture Repair Technician

Job overview

The Furniture Repair Technician role is onsite in Lubbock, TX, in a distribution center and warehouse environment. Compensation is $20–$31 per hour. The technician repairs damaged furniture products, including items purchased through Ashley HomeStores during transit. The role assesses damage and completes timely repairs so products can be restored where possible. It also supports inspection and warehouse teams by documenting recurring damage, maintaining a clean repair area, and following safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Repair case goods, leather, and upholstered furniture
• perform surface repairs, refinishing, corner rebuilds, replacement-part repairs, and upholstery repairs including mechanism replacement
• inspect damaged products and assess repairability
• communicate tool, part, and hardware needs
• document recurring damage and report repeated issues
• assist other technicians and warehouse personnel
• follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
