The Senior Cost Accountant, Manufacturing role is onsite in Grand Haven, MI, with daily presence on the production facility’s shop floor required. Compensation is $75,000–$90,000 per year. Kaidi LLC is building manufacturing capacity for inline actuators and understructure assemblies used in height-adjustable desks. The accountant maintains reliable manufacturing cost and inventory records, analyzes cost and margin drivers, and supports month-end close and management reporting. By partnering with operations, production, purchasing, and engineering, the role helps improve financial accuracy, manufacturing efficiency, and data-informed decisions.

What you'll do

• Maintain cost records for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
• ensure inventory valuation under US GAAP and China GAAP
• reconcile inventory and investigate variances
• analyze labor, material, and overhead costs
• prepare variance and margin analyses
• support standard cost reviews and BOM accuracy
• prepare journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and audit documentation for month-end close.
