Bay Area Field Technician

Job overview

The Bay Area Field Technician role is onsite in Pleasanton, CA, with approximately 40 work hours per week plus on-call service nights and weekends as needed. Pay is $34 per hour. The technician supports CGP Maintenance & Construction Services’ Facility Maintenance division by completing client maintenance work and providing customer service at job sites. The role maintains and repairs client facilities through a range of basic trade tasks, while coordinating work orders, documenting completed work, and keeping job sites safe and orderly.

What you'll do

• Perform client maintenance work and follow work-order instructions
• contact client locations before work and communicate with site managers
• bring appropriate tools and paperwork
• keep work areas safe and clean
• obtain required approvals before exceeding authorized work limits
• take before-and-after photos and obtain required signatures
• report completed jobs and submit daily paperwork
• complete job tickets and mileage logs
• perform basic tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and FRP work
• perform preventive maintenance
• accept on-call rotation when assigned
• follow safety practices and use required protective equipment.
