What you'll do

• Supervise nursing care in accordance with long-term-care rules and guidelines
• ensure staff follow policies and procedures
• implement resident care plans
• conduct assessments
• communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff
• document and investigate incidents
• coordinate new-staff orientation
• administer medications as ordered
• maintain medication and narcotic records
• support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
