The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking a teacher to lead a preschool classroom and support young children's learning and development. The teacher leads classroom routines and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, creating learning experiences that build early academic skills, creativity, communication, independence, and kindergarten readiness. The role also supports Assistant Teachers, documents children's development, and maintains communication with families.
What you'll do
- Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- create experiences supporting literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- encourage independence and positive peer relationships
- observe and document development
- support Assistant Teachers
- communicate with families
- maintain a safe, organized classroom
- and follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements.
