The assistant educator helps create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children from three months through five years old. The role supports the head teacher, promotes children’s development through age-appropriate experiences, and works with the teaching team and families.

What you'll do

• Work individually and as part of a teaching team
• build positive relationships with children through observation and learning experiences
• support the head teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate experiences and maintaining a safe classroom
• support children’s emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth
• communicate with colleagues, students, and parents
• attend staff and teaching-team meetings.
