Apparel Screen Printing Operator

Job overview

The Apparel Screen Printing Operator role is onsite in Gaithersburg, MD. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. The operator reports to the Production Manager. The role produces printed apparel by setting up and operating screen-printing equipment, monitoring print quality, and maintaining screens, inks, tools, and machinery. It supports accurate production runs that meet work orders and customer specifications.

What you'll do

• Operate automatic and manual screen-printing presses
• set up screens, inks, and substrates
• adjust machine settings
• print designs on garments to work orders
• load and unload apparel
• monitor color, registration, drying, and curing
• inspect garments and correct defects
• mix inks
• prepare and reclaim screens
• clean tools
• perform routine equipment maintenance
• follow safety guidelines and keep the workspace organized.
