The Direct Support Professional – Residential, Part-Time Evenings role is onsite in Rochester, NY, in the North Greece area. The schedule is 20 hours per week: Friday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–9:00 PM, and Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Starting wage is $21.55 per hour. The role is part of Lifetime Assistance’s Residential Services department, whose mission is to foster independence, dignity, and respect for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The professional provides personal care and daily living support while helping individuals build independence, self-help, and social skills. The role also supports health and safety, implements and documents individualized service plans, and encourages community participation, contributing to the organization’s goal of helping people live with independence and purpose.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks
• support independence, self-help, and social skills
• support health and safety, including medication administration if certified
• implement and document individualized service plans
• encourage community integration and social and recreational participation
• drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed
• communicate with individuals, families, and colleagues
• complete required training and professional development.

Why this role
