Material Planner

Job overview

What you'll do

• Coordinate with production, planning, purchasing, logistics, and customer service to align material availability with demand and production schedules
• track incoming shipments and follow up on delayed or at-risk deliveries
• monitor material requirements and inventory
• communicate shortages, scheduling conflicts, and delivery delays
• maintain planning reports, delivery schedules, and material status updates
• use ERP/MRP and internal planning tools
• support continuous improvement in planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier performance
• follow purchasing policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
