What you'll do

  • Provide direct resident care and distribute medications according to individualized care plans
  • observe residents and report condition changes
  • document observations, incidents, interventions, and medication assistance
  • check and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned
  • administer and document medications according to the five rights
  • provide glucose monitoring and insulin administration if insulin-certified
  • assist with activities of daily living, nutrition, hydration, transfers, and ambulation
  • perform restorative nursing techniques
  • support fall prevention and facility activities
  • manage assigned medication delivery documentation and counts
  • communicate with residents’ families and care teams.
