The Director of Development role is an onsite, full-time position in Colbert, WA. The stated compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year. The role supports Northwest Christian Schools’ fundraising and community-building efforts in partnership with the Head of Schools, Board of Regents, and development team. The director leads fundraising strategy and donor engagement to strengthen the school’s mission and long-term financial sustainability. The role coordinates campaigns, events, planned giving, communications, stewardship, and development data while building relationships with families, alumni, foundations, businesses, and community supporters.

What you'll do

• Set fundraising and capital-campaign direction with school leadership and the Board of Regents
• lead the development and event teams
• cultivate donors, sponsors, foundations, businesses, alumni, and community partners
• oversee donor correspondence and stewardship
• coordinate planned giving
• collaborate on fundraising materials, events, alumni relations, and communications
• work with the database manager to track giving trends
• maintain development policies and records.
