What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair roll-forming lines, presses, uncoilers, straighteners, feeders, conveyors, cranes, forklifts, and other production equipment
• perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, shafts, chains, belts, gearboxes, motors, couplings, and cylinders
• assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement
• use hand and power tools, welders, measuring tools, and diagnostic equipment
• assist with installations, modifications, fabrication, and improvement projects
• respond to breakdowns
• document repairs, parts, and follow-up work
• follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
