What you'll do

• Supervise nursing personnel and daily nursing activities during an assigned tour
• monitor care delivery and staff performance
• identify and address care-delivery problems
• report to the Director of Nursing
• coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• investigate accidents
• make rounds and follow up on complaints
• support staff orientation, evaluations, and in-service training
• monitor staffing, medication administration, and care-plan compliance
• provide direct nursing care as needed
• participate in quality improvement, infection control, and safety activities.
