The shift lead assists the Cafe Manager with daily operations, staff support, customer service, and product quality. What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day café operations
• train staff and baristas on food and drink preparation and equipment
• coordinate baked-goods needs with bakers
• maintain revenue and expense records
• suggest seasonal menu items with café ownership
• support staff in resolving customer issues
• maintain cleanliness
• oversee staff scheduling and inventory
• oversee deliveries and storage
• manage opening and closing, cash handling, and equipment maintenance
• ensure food safety compliance
• monitor sales and financial goals.

Why this role

Part-time hourly position. Supervisory experience in food or hospitality is required; two or more years of café, bakery, or restaurant management experience is preferred. ServSafe Food Manager or comparable certification is a plus.
