The LGBTQ+ Program Coordinator role is onsite at the Access Center in Venice, California, within Los Angeles. Compensation is $26.00–$28.85 per hour. The coordinator supports Safe Place for Youth’s programs for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The role leads affirming programming, mentorship, education, and resource connections for LGBTQ+ foster and transitional-age youth. It also strengthens staff and partner capacity and helps connect youth with the organization’s broader services.

What you'll do

• Facilitate weekly Queer Joy group sessions
• create affirming youth activities and spaces
• distribute gender-affirming products
• maintain resource lists and provide referrals
• support staff and partners with cultural competency and trauma-informed practices
• coordinate events and mentorship
• advocate for inclusive policies
• collect participant feedback
• collaborate with Access Center and Clinical Teams on youth engagement and service coordination.
