Operations Lead

The Operations Lead role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Compensation is $25.25 per hour. The position supports Cargill’s protein and salt business, which provides food products to foodservice operators, grocery stores, manufacturers, and exporters. The role helps maintain accurate ingredient inventory and supports safe, quality production. It oversees hourly material handlers when the supervisor is absent and contributes to plant projects involving safety, food safety, regulatory compliance, environmental matters, process improvement, engagement, and training.

What you'll do

• Verify ingredient movements in SAP and inventory records, including written documentation
• collaborate with Operations on corrective and preventive measures when needed
• support compliance with corporate, regulatory, and facility food safety and quality requirements
• oversee hourly material handlers in the supervisor’s absence and help ensure quality production
• assist with plant projects related to safety, food safety, regulatory matters, environment, process improvement, engagement, and training.

Why this role

Second shift. Requires a college degree or equivalent work experience, 2–5 years of relevant experience, basic math skills, English communication skills, and Microsoft Office experience. Food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience and HACCP knowledge are preferred.
