Production Cook — McMurdo Station, 2027 Austral Winter

The Production Cook role is onsite at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, with compensation of $900–$1,000 per week. What you'll do

• Prepare assigned menu items for primary and satellite locations using proper cooking techniques and batch-cooking methods
• follow standardized recipes
• label and date food and use leftovers efficiently
• monitor hot and cold serving temperatures
• maintain kitchen safety and sanitation
• clean and care for equipment
• coordinate batch cooking
• assist with prep cook training
• function as shift leader in the Sous Chef’s absence. Requires a current ServSafe Food Handler certificate before deployment, a valid driver’s license, a valid U.S. passport, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
