What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies using directed germicides or sterilization procedures
• monitor for potential hazards during routine housekeeping
• prioritize safety-related and time-sensitive requests, including pre-arrival room checks and spills
• clean assigned vacant rooms and document cleaning and sanitization
• dispose of infectious waste in appropriate containers according to regulations and the facility infection prevention plan
• dispose of trash properly and service receptacles.
