Kids Care Leader

The Kids Care Leader role is onsite in Barrington, RI, with pay of $16 per hour. The Greater Providence YMCA’s Prime Time programs provide supervised activities for children and interaction with their families. The leader supervises children and maintains their safety while supporting positive program experiences. The role also communicates with families, follows child-release procedures, and promotes the YMCA’s character-development values.

What you'll do

• Maintain attendance and sign-in/sign-out records
• follow child-release and identification procedures
• explain program features and procedures
• maintain communication with parents and refer serious matters to program leadership
• set up and break down equipment
• monitor participant safety
• provide rescue or first aid when necessary
• report incidents
• maintain a clean environment
• attend staff meetings and events
• demonstrate character-development values.
