Assistant Construction Estimator

The role helps develop project cost estimates by reviewing plans, completing quantity takeoffs, gathering trade partner and supplier proposals, and preparing estimate and client proposal documents. It also supports project evaluation through occasional site visits and coordination with management, clients, and subcontractors.

What you'll do

• Review blueprints, plans, and project documentation
• perform quantity takeoffs
• prepare cost projections for labor, materials, and subcontractors
• solicit and review proposals
• assemble estimate packages and client proposals
• identify project requirements and cost considerations
• maintain estimate records
• coordinate with management, clients, and subcontractors
• occasionally visit potential project sites.
