Accounting Associate – Accounts Payable

The Accounting Associate – Accounts Payable is an onsite, full-time position in Honolulu, HI. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and supports Hawaii Coffee Company’s accounts payable functions. The associate helps maintain accurate vendor and financial records and supports month-end and year-end accounting processes. The position also assists with employee travel arrangements and provides backup support to the sales order desk when needed.

What you'll do

• Receive and process invoices and check requests
• review invoices for account charge codes
• maintain accounts payable vendor files and financial records
• manage petty cash disbursements
• reconcile company credit cards and vendor statements
• respond to billing questions and liaise with departments and vendors
• assist with travel arrangements, month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis, year-end audits, credit applications, Form 1099 preparation, and periodic physical inventory
• back up the sales order desk.
