Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)

The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor role is fully onsite in Saint Paul, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $31–$36 per hour, plus a bonus structure. Behavioral Health Group provides opioid addiction treatment through a network of accredited treatment centers. The counselor supports patients through recovery by conducting individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care. The role also provides intake, crisis intervention, referrals, documentation, and regulatory-compliance support within the scope of the counselor’s license or certification.

What you'll do

• Conduct alcohol and drug counseling and group sessions
• orient patients to program operations
• collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information
• develop and revise treatment plans and records
• make referrals and follow up
• support program implementation and caseload management
• provide staff training
• conduct intake and readmission services
• provide crisis intervention
• coordinate care with community providers
• perform OBOT services
• comply with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
