What you'll do

• Process tissues manually or mechanically through fixation, dehydration, and infiltration
• embed tissues, cut sections, and perform routine staining
• perform special stains and immunoperoxidase procedures when necessary
• fill in for the Autopsy Assistant when needed for hazardous chemical waste and surgical material disposal
• assist with cytology specimen processing.
